Peng Youdong said that international cooperation in ecological protection and restoration is an important part of the joint construction of the "the Belt and Road" initiative. Zhao Shucong said that since its establishment 10 years ago, the Asia Pacific forest organization has adhered to the purpose of promoting regional forest restoration and sustainable management, combined the vision of the organization with regional forestry needs, forest restoration with improving people's livelihood, capacity-building and personnel exchange, information sharing and good practice exchange, funded economies to carry out demonstration projects, and made positive efforts for regional forestry cooperation.
