sharp has established a technology that can recover polypropylene (PP) and polystyrene (PS) from four types of waste household appliances (air conditioners, televisions, refrigerators and washing machines), without loss of strength and quality, and reuse them in the above four types of household appliances

the "Kansai recycling system company" jointly invested and built by five home appliance companies in Japan 273 bus duct will use this technology, which will also increase the demand for limited silver reserves. with this technology, the service life of recycled waste PP and PS materials can be tested within one hour (it used to take an average of 20 days). In addition, by adding antioxidant, the service life of waste PP and PS can be extended and reused as recycled materials. The quality (strength, etc.) of regenerated PP and PS is roughly the same as that of pure PP and PS, and can be regenerated and used repeatedly. There is no difference between the cost and the newly processed materials. Sharp is applying for 11 patents on this technology

now China's waste plastic recycling and environmental protection industry is not small in scale, and has developed for many years. However, the technical level of the industry is not high, because many operators are half-way monks, few of whom are from professional backgrounds, and there is little support in this regard from the academic community

so today, as long as you have stable technical requirements for material testing, the development level of the industry is not high. But looking at the development of foreign counterparts, we can know how much space there is in this industry. We can say how much space there is for the development of China's plastic industry now, and how much space there is for waste environmental recycling, because they are inseparable
